And there, at long last, is the sweet baby... BB does he have red hair or is that the light? I'm a sucker for a redhead. :)
You know... I'm reminded that this technological age we live in has done some interesting things to our sense of community and our friendships. I have loved this child since the day he was born -- his brothers as well -- and I have never even met them OR their parents. BB and Gina? You're fond old friends to me now and neither of you know my eye color. Because we've never met! But there it is.
Val, I know these pics are supposed to be about James and his awesome new-baby-cuteness, but I wanted to mention that I'm starting to be able to see you in Simon. :-)
james' hair is almost black, actually, and so far his eyes are dark blue but judging from his hair and mediterranean skin tone i am guessing they will go brown like his dad's.
Oh, Baby James is just so adorable that I can't put it into words. You put it into words just right Peg, that even though I've never met Gina and BabelBabe, I consider them friends to check in with regularly.
BB--have you seen Avi's Chicken Hat over on Andrea's livejournal? Elise already made him one, but James doesn't have a chicken viking hat, though I'm not sure if you would want one for him. I know a few other babies, so I just need to find some parents who are willing to put that on the baby's head.
