Dudes!
I just slept FOR SEVEN HOURS STRAIGHT.
I haven't done that in...
in...
how old is Primo?
Add nine months to THAT - that's how long.
No sleep-talking, no falling out of bed, no wanting water or food.
Peace, quiet (well, except for the ice machine which is right near my door, but who is complaning as I am refilling the cooler every few hours or so, to keep the breastmilk cold...so am actually thankful for the proximity.)
And I? Just ate a chocolate bar.
At eight in the morning.
And checked my email and the news.
And don't need to pour ANYONE Cheerios for at least another twenty-four hours.
Ah. Life is GOOD.

You are living the high life! I busted out laughing that you are STILL breastfeeding, even on your vacay; but of course you are. Mammaries Do What They Do; they aren't faucets. Make Milk They Will.
Hmmmm, chocolate bar for breakfast...Believe I'll have the same.
Enjoy! Say 'howdy' to whomever made it to Bloggerpalooza.
But what kind of chocolate bar?
Ritter Sport Milk Chocolate, Jess. Highly nutritious and meal-like.
Yay on seven hours sleep.
Yay on not having to wait on anybody else in the morning. That one gets old when you are blurry-eyed and stumbling around.
Sometimes it takes me twenty minutes just to make a cup of coffee.
Keep the chocolate intake up high. It's good for breastmilk production you know.
Have a fun day!
I was just thinking today that between my night time pregnancy pees and getting up to nurse, I haven't had an uninterrupted night of sleep in almost 3 years. No wonder I'm so bitchy all the time!
Seven.hours.sleep
I am crying from jealousy. I think I've had one unbroken sleep of six hours in the past two and a half years.
May it continue for you! In the meantime, send the sleeping fairy over here, will you?!
You know I want every single detail. It's a sickness.
(What book/s did you take?)
