"How would Elvis Presley know the going rate for a tooth?" - Priscilla Presley

HOLD!
THE!
PRESSES!

My baby, my first-born, my eldest son...

Just lost his first tooth.

It's all downhill from here: puberty, acne, college, girlfriends, marriage, grandchildren...I may cry.

Congratulations Primo!

Will the tooth fairy bring him a book or the usual money?

money - apparently the going rate is a dollar?

A Dollar? I got a quarter if I was lucky...

Showing my age, again.

I think puberty is at least 7 years off.

Yes, a dollar. A Sacagawea dollar coin is a nice touch if you've got one.

Congratulations on this milestone.

A nice book to read with him is: Throw Your Tooth on the Roof by Selby Beeler.

Congratulations, Primo!

How did it happen? Like, was it in an apple or something? Was he wiggling it? Did it hurt? Is he amazed at what it looks like outside his mouth? Is Seg impressed?

Is his mother going to save it and press it into pink playdough and make a model Primo mouth as a keepsake?

If you work out something cool to do with the tooth can you say? My son's first tooth is tucked away somewhere in a plastic bag. I told him the Tooth Fairy grinds it up to make fairy dust (You know! Fairy Dust!! It makes you fly) which she sells to other fairies in her shop - hence the money he received.

Yay! Congrats, Primo!

It's posts like this that make me realize how dang old my kids are getting.

Congrats Primo! My kids were relatively old before they started losing their teeth. I can't believe the money is now a dollar a tooth!

I hope the tooth fairy in your parts has a better memory than ours, who sometimes takes two or even three nights to REMEMBER HER DUTIES.

Waaaah!

Be sure to keep all his teeth in a little wooden box so you can present them to him on the night before his wedding and freak his shit out.

(not that this happened to me)

(Glad to read of the going rate for a tooth as I didn't have a clue and some others in the diva's class are starting to loose theirs, so our turn won't be long I presume!)

I am chomping at the bit for that Kingsolver! Fast Food Nation did some amazing things for my diet too!
