"He thought he saw a Banker's Clerk / Descending from the bus..." - Lewis Carroll

Number of people reading on the 5:05 71A: 7 (including me)

Books being read:
You Gotta Have Balls - Lily Brett (me)
The Secret History - Donna Tartt
Brunelleschi’s Dome - Ross King
A Terry Pratchett Discworld paperback
A dark-covered book with a title something like Suicide Hangover

Try as I might, I could not see what the other two people were reading.

Did I mention my sister gave me "The Thirteenth Tale" for Christmas? In hardback, even. Looking forward to reading it; I want to savor it and I still have a few books ahead of it.

Blogging on the bus? That's a new one...

Which readers were men and which were women?

My husband would love the Ross King. I'll have to get a copy for him...

And our public library has it on CD! Oh happy day.

All women. Men seem to read the paper or text.

No, I wasn't blogging ON the bus. Don't be ridiculous. It's this little thing called "observation."

I thought the Ross King looked interesting too. Although I am really bad about reading nonfiction.

Bibliovoyeurism! Woo!

I hope you will make this a frequent/occasional thing. Like Blackbird's wine reviews.

Well, you have that tablet and laptop...I didn't think so, knowing you, but you never KNOW. How I miss peoplewatching. It's so much harder in cars. People think you're rude b/c there's no way of being inconspicuous.

Dammit. Now I have to get that Ross King book.

P.S. Hi, Gina! How was your hibernation? I hope your return doesn't mean you'll start molting or anything.

Can't wait to read your thoughts about the book you're reading. Interesting title, no?

Are you enjoying the Brett?

(But what were the people WEARING?)

I'm reading You Gotta Have Balls at the moment as well! Am only managing to get through a couple of pages each night though before I fall asleep ... will have to try and pick up the pace because I love it :)
