Sryashta spins golden yarn inside which she weaves your fate. (If you are a good and kind person, she may just take matters into her own capable hands and improve it.)
She is the goddess of good fortune and serves as the household assistant of Mokosh, the Slavic earth goddess.
Sryashta is a variant of the Dolya/Nedolya myth.

Rowing Pic
Just because it was such a beautiful day, and he's so cute!
Ditto on the cute! He is really having a ball, isn't he. That's so great.
My mom, bless her heart, never would have taken me on such a cool trip. You seem to have the knack for great family quality time (OK that's a really awkward sentence but I hope you understand the sentiment).
Thanks, Peg. I am always very aware of the fact that I am a single mom raising a boy who's dad is gay. Someone has to see to it that there's action and adventure, and . . . that falls to me. It's really to my benefit though, because I probably wouldn't bother with these things otherwise, and then I'd miss out on the fun.
I should clarify the above comment by saying "a dad who is celebrating his coming out of the closet by acting stereotypically gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that."
I am aware that there are gay men who like to do sporty/outdoorsy things, but Carl is not one of them.

Wow, does he look like you in that pic! No denying that child even if you wanted to!
Yes, he is cute! Watch out ladies!
I think he looks like me there too. My sister keeps pointing out that he's getting his dad's nose, but there's no denying that I'm his mom.
Sometimes just looking at him makes me feel like such a mother hen. Cluck! :-)
