"The only time to eat diet food is while you're waiting for the steak to cook.”*

Is there anything more delicious than a freshly washed baby?

With a sprinkle of salt, and maybe a dab of butter?

Although, after reading Cormac McCarthy's horrifying and haunting The Road, I find myself somewhat reluctant to make my usual edible-baby jokes.

Is it just me?

I haven't heard of that book but I will pass. :-)

He is scrumptious indeed. I adore those fat rolls. You're making me jealous.

Haven't read it so I have no problem contemplating gnawing on him - but I think he could use some golden syrup.

That can't be the BABY. You just HAD the baby, and this one is too big.

Mmmm meaty baby. I'm particularly fond of meaty baby thigh.

I love the way their hair fluffs up when they are freshly washed.

The baby is beautiful and adorable but you are not wrong about "The Road." I read it six months ago and am only now recovering from the trauma...

My first roommate at the hospital kept saying "Delicious" to her baby in the middle of the night. It was cute.

I used to refer to my baby daughter as "juicy". My son was a skinny baby, not nearly as delectable (but a keeper nonetheless).

Sorry he's got an ear infection. My skinny boy was a chronic ear infection baby. Thankfully his eustachian tubes grew diagonally before he needed ear tubes.

Good times (gack).

Wait, didn't you read that book last year and tell me I wouldn't like it? Or have we gone back in time? Because that picture looks a lot like Terzo.

(am I in a blog time warp?)

Cute baby, though. Come to Aunt Sary Lou, I won't let them eat you.

To the ladies: BABIES aren't for eating!!

okay, I just failed vw twice!!
