I am a little sad, but mostly relieved. Maybe now I can finish up some of those projects around the house I never seem to have time for.

Congrats on your retirement - for awhile or forever! And I've been 'retired' for 5 years - the piles of to do get bigger and bigger.

Oh, I LOVED The Lightning Thief, and can't wait for the library to buy the next 2 in the series. As for Nicci French, it will be interesting to see what you think. I've read every one of their (husband/wife team) books from the beginning so I'm sort of hooked.
If you never sleep you might get to those chores. How I wish we never had to sleep.
Our children would have to but we wouldn't.
So, uh, you got your reading mojo back then honey?
