Sryashta spins golden yarn inside which she weaves your fate. (If you are a good and kind person, she may just take matters into her own capable hands and improve it.)
She is the goddess of good fortune and serves as the household assistant of Mokosh, the Slavic earth goddess.
Sryashta is a variant of the Dolya/Nedolya myth.

"In skating over thin ice our safety is in our speed."*
I was VERY busy this morning. And as soon as H comes home with a new hose and a pressure coupler for the basement faucet, we can fill this baby and then... let the skating games begin!

Wait, for real? A little skating rink? In your backyard? Now THAT is frickin' cool. Er, no pun intended.
That's awesome! Show us when it's frozen. :)
Well that is both way awesome and totally weird.
Who would EVER think of building their own ice rink in their back yard. WHO!?!
Looks fun, and safer than the ponds we're skating on, that's for sure.
I can't find anything to say about ice and snow except Wow! Ice and snow! You're having winter, right?
