Sryashta spins golden yarn inside which she weaves your fate. (If you are a good and kind person, she may just take matters into her own capable hands and improve it.)
She is the goddess of good fortune and serves as the household assistant of Mokosh, the Slavic earth goddess.
Sryashta is a variant of the Dolya/Nedolya myth.

"The American people are hungry for change."
And today it starts!
Congratulations to our 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama.
I am beside myself with joy and excitement and optimism.
P.S. I've just returned from visiting Anna's backyard in Sweden (http://helylle-fotrat.blogspot.com/) and I noticed that she too had an ice-rink!! Thought you might like that.

And I happily support you in that joy and excitement and optimism...
Have caught snippets of the inauguration but intend to sit down and watch it properly tonight...
Joy, excitement and optimism...that pretty much sums it up. I'm totally with you.
And pride. Don't forget the pride.
It was felt all the way in Australia as well!

I am excited too! I hope the old stuck in their way politicians let him shake things up!
It's a good feeling, isn't it?
